About Us

Wendie Barker qualified as a DVSA-approved Driving Instructor in 2007 and founded Bee Free Driving School in London.

Her commitment to road safety has seen her contribute to several major initiatives, including assessing and training Volunteer Drivers for the London 2012 Olympics.

In recent years, Wendie has expanded her professional expertise significantly. She gained her PCV licence, worked as a London bus driver, trained new drivers for one of Europe’s largest transport operators, and was a Training & Development Officer for the UK’s largest apprenticeship provider. She has recently delivered Fleet Driver Training to The Barbados Ambulance Service as part of the Driving Academy programme at Bushy Park, Racing Circuit, Barbados.

Wendie is a qualified TEFL teacher and holds a Level 3 Award in Training and Education. She adopts a client-centred approach and has extensive experience supporting learners with a wide range of abilities, learning styles and backgrounds — including those for whom English is a second language.

Recognising how many learners struggle with the UK car theory test, Wendie set up the ‘Theory Test Coaching School’ and now specialises as a Car/PCV Theory Coach, offering personalised online one-to-one coaching sessions to help learners understand the material, build confidence and achieve success. Wendie is also a published author and released her first Ebook in December 2025-“How to pass the UK Driving Test”
